It's time to say goodbye

2022 has been a rollercoaster for me.

If you had told me a year ago that I would have set up a successful coaching business, attracted a great tribe of folks who’ve become amazing friends and finally be at peace with myself…I would have laughed in your face.

But yes. Somehow, this 25-year-old has done it.

Even reflecting on the journey I’ve been through gives me goosebumps - the emotional ups and downs, mental health issues, and the tremendous self-improvement.

And I’ve been doing it a lot in the past few weeks leading to New Year’s Eve.

As I looked through all my Twitter posts, previous editions of this newsletter, journals, and emails, I realized how much I’ve changed. How much this newsletter has changed. Can I say more ‘evolved’?

What started as a simple experiment to share my learnings about professional networking has grown into something bigger. Something more meaningful.

I’ve found my purpose, it feels like.

And as I’m peacefully sinking into this new form, I realize that this particular newsletter might not be the best boat to carry on the mission.

If you’ve been following me on Twitter, you know I had an idea of starting a paid newsletter for solopreneurial coaches/consultants.

I did an intense brain dump of my WHY and realized that there’s no inclusive content that takes different backgrounds and emotions of people into consideration for coaches.

Because, damn, this is an emotional roller coaster.

Stemming from this, I wanted to create content that takes different issues like tapping into your gut, emotional well-being, imposter syndrome, women in business, neurodiversity, etc., into context for coaches.

To prove that it’s possible to build a successful business with high-ticket clients no matter your background. Your way. And not feel icky about it too!

I’ve been feeling this itch that can no longer be ignored to start a new newsletter because this one doesn’t feel right anymore.

And I decided to make it free for everyone. Why?

1. Running a paid newsletter is a pain in the ass. And I’m not ready to beat myself about it or set too many expectations for myself now.

2. I want to keep it open to all, take feedback, and make the content so good it cannot be ignored. That’s my priority as of now:)

So if you’re (already or planning to be) a coach/consultant who wants to grow your business your way, I welcome you with open arms into this new journey. I hope you continue your immense support.

But if it’s not right for you, I won’t force you to stay either. Because I know it wouldn’t be right.

I’ll be shifting this list to the new newsletter. So please feel free to unsubscribe from this one directly.
