I’m sick of the Twitter bro-ey advice.
There, I said it.
I cannot reply to 40 people every day to gain followers. I cannot use tips and tricks to “find my niche” in 24 hours.
I cannot work 16 hours daily to set up a million-dollar business. Or wonder how you’re doing it, working for 4 hours a day.
I cannot wake up at 4:15 every day and make my ass land at 4:30 in a $1000 chair.
You get where I’m going with this, don’t you?
For ages, we have all faced extreme friction because of arbitrary expectations, goals, and methodologies we pile up on ourselves. Not realizing that until we solve the root cause and create a business that works for us, nothing’s gonna happen.
Ultimately most of us end up quitting or boxing ourselves up.
What if I told you there’s no ONE way to run your business?
That you can take small steps that work for you, irrespective of the shit life throws at you, and create a business that you’re comfortable with? Take actions that work for your mental health, lifestyle, values, ethics, and everything in between?
What if you start understanding your strengths and weaknesses and design a business YOUR WAY?
And still build a thriving coaching/consulting business with high-ticket clients who respect and trust you?
Yes, it is possible.
This was my WHY behind the new journey of YOUR BUSINESS. YOUR WAY.
As mentioned in the last edition of Social Media Conversations, I’m pivoting to start a new newsletter to fit who I am today.
I started SMC because I had gotten sick of the traditional “networking” that happens online. A give-and-take policy that was not at all genuine.
I wanted to prove that growing your business via genuine relationships was possible.
But over the past couple of months, I’ve pivoted a ton. And this newsletter does not serve my goals anymore. So I’ll be shifting to YOUR BUSINESS. YOUR WAY from January 1.
If you’re a coach or consultant wanting to start and grow your online business your way, it’ll be a fantastic place for you.
If you want to know more about what’s to come and my WHY behind this decision, I did a brain dump here. You can check it out!
Couple of things to note:
This’ll be the last edition of SMC. I’m taking a break next week and will start on January 1 with YBYW.
I’ll be transferring all the subscribers from here to there. So if you want to unsubscribe, feel free to do so (from SMC).
But if you stay, it’ll mean a lot to me.YBYW will be a weekly newsletter, too, that’ll be published on Tuesday.
I’ll be announcing the release on Twitter this week. But meanwhile, I would really appreciate it if you could share the new newsletter with your friends (if you think it’ll help them)
Thank you so so much for everything! Your support has truly meant a lot to me!
Until next time,
Shruthi
